Rotational Hitting Instruction

"Hitting
is the most important part of the game. It is where the big money is, where much of the status is, and the fan interest." Ted Williams
If you are having trouble hitting now will be the perfect time to learned the hitting technique used
by 95% of Hall of Famers. If you have been taught to hit top half of the ball, keep your elbow down, swing down for
back spin your are most likely hitting lots of ground balls, weak fly balls and of course having trouble staying back. We
would like you to browse through our site for more info. We offer hitting lessons to both baseball and fastpitch players
looking to improve their game. wich swing would you like to have?

WHAT WE TEACH AT HITTING 101!!!
BAT QUICKNESS, POWER AND RBI'S!!!!!!
Hitting 101 offers hitting instruction to those players seeking a higher level of play.
I teach travel players to collegiate players the technique that 95% of Hall of Famers and today top Professional
hitters. We do not teach nob to the ball, barrell above the hands hit down for back spin, etc. etc.
We show you how to increase bat speed and total power, by learning a rotational swing. Notice these Pro's not keeping their front
elbow down and not swinging down. Big money makers in baseball hit for OPS and SLG %. Just stop and
think for a moment if you pay 50dlrs a seat in an MLB game to watch all your favorite players hit ground balls!!!!! So take
a look at these picks and browse through the site for info on Rotational Hitting.
None of these hitters are keeping their front elbow down, keeping barrell above the ball, swinging down for back
spin, or taking the knob to the ball. Learn to hit like the pros. Come and get ready for future PG Showcases or MLB
tryouts. Catch the eyes of scouts and college recruiters.
HOW WE TEACH AT HITTING 101
...there are only TWO hitting techniques? A hitter either comes forward or stays back. If he weight-shifts forward (continuously
moves his vertical plane forward) as he swings, he is linear. Rotational hitters also weight-shift, but once they reach the
balance point in their stride, they rotate around a stationary axis as they swing. Simply, hitters that "stay back"
are rotational. A hitter CANNOT stay back and be considered linear. We will show you how to have bat quickness. ...there
is a big difference between bat "speed" and bat "quickness?" Bat speed measures bat velocity;
bat quickness measures the time lapse from launch-to-contact. If a hitter has good bat quickness (major league average: .16
seconds), he will have high bat velocity. However, a hitter can have high bat velocity and NOT have good bat quickness. Torquing
his body, or winding the "rubber band," is where hitters get high bat quickness. (See Illustration
to the right) We teach each student what the great hitters have done for many, many years. It is to learn how to seperate bottom
half of body from top half. It is to create equal and opposite reaction. When the hips start to open, our
top half will counter rotate creating torque. This will create bat speed and help you not to lunge. Our front knee
locks and hips give us that violent pull!!The hitter will learn how to correctly position
his body to the oncoming pitch. Great big league hitters do not swing down, they try to match the plain of their swing
to the plaing of the pitch. It can only be done by learning how to correctly stay back and by learning the position
of arms and elbows.
When we talk about matching the plain of the pitch to the plain of our swing it is to
be able to adjust to each pitch. It is to hit it right in its red zone. So
you might ask what is a perfect swing?. ...there is no such thing as the "perfect swing?" The perfect
swing is the adjustment the hitter makes to the pitch he gets. As a result, it constantly changes! (M. Epstein) In
baseball or softball the ball does not travel up. So why are our kids being taught to drive the knob
down and keep their barrell above their hands? We teach you how to make on the fly adjustments to your swing to
match the plain of the pitch. I hear alot of coaches telling their pitchers to keep the ball down, try to get us a ground
ball! But when they are up to bat I hear the same thing from the coach that just told their pitcher to keep the
ball low. Telling the hitter, "come on, hit the top half of the ball." We are just fighting a never ending
battle. Now if the ball is left up and we are being taught to take the knob to the ball, now with out knowing it, we are using
a type of rotational swing. Why because the ball was left up. But as pitchers keep moving up in age divisions, the pitchers
have a better command of the strike zone. They are more likely to keep the ball down. And how are we going
to get the ball up? We need to learn to hit it over the infielders heads. Get it out of the infield. It is something
that can only be done with rotational mechanics. It is only by matching the plain of your swing to the plain of
the pitch. So if you are being taught to drive the knob to the ball and keep the barrell above the hands you will
have very slight chance of making contact. But if you are using rotational mechanics you will be able to keep the
barrell of the bat in the zone for a longer period of time. This is why, in order for you to get most out of your money, we suggest
that you get into one of our programs. It is nothing like your son or daughter has had before. We
need to burn in that muscle memory. It is not once a week for 30 min. Our sessions run from 60min to 90min. We
guarantee results.
We offer a 3, 5, and 7 day individual hitting clinics for baseball players. Come and get ready for
upcoming PG showcases and MLB tryout camps. Learn how to hit for power. We help you increase your OPS and SLG%.
Come and learn how to catch the eyes of college recruiters and scouts with the swing of the bat. The off season is the
perfect time to come and learn the technique the 95% of Hall of Famers and todays top players have used.
"Hitters
are made in the offseason."
NOTE: Hitting 101 in now way claims to have any affiliation with MLB.
We offer hitting instruction to players looking to get to the next level.
